The candidates who meet the conditions stated in the act \u201cUstawa o Polskiej Akademii Nauk\u201d dated 30 April 2010 (Dz.U. 2018 poz. 1475 z p\u00f3\u017a. zm.), art 89. Ust. 4 for the position of Assistant are encouraged to apply for the position. The Assistant will be involved in the implementation of research statutory tasks as well she\/he will work in the NewCat project.<\/p>\n<p>The Candidate\u00a0 will\u00a0 take part\u00a0 in\u00a0 research conducted\u00a0 by the\u00a0 group of Theoretical and Experimental Biocatalysis, which focus on modeling of the structure of enzyme-substrate complexes using molecular dynamics methods (native forms and mutants) for enzymes from the group of non-heme iron-dependent enzymes and copper-dependent oxygenases. She\/he will study the reaction pathways of these enzymes using QM\/MM methods and will rationally redesign these enzymes in silico.<\/p>\n<p>In particular the Assistant will be responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>conducting simulations using the molecular dynamics method;<\/li>\n<li>study of reaction mechanisms using QM\/MM methods;<\/li>\n<li>rational redesign of enzymes in silico;<\/li>\n<li>development of scripts in Python3;<\/li>\n<li>preparation of scientific publications, presentation of results at conferences;<\/li>\n<li>taking care of interns and doctoral students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ikifp.edu.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Assistant-BTiE_KSN-1-2023_ENG_IKiFP.pdf\">Assistant BTiE_KSN 1-2023<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jerzy Haber Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry PAS invites applications for an Assistant in the Theoretical and Experimental Biocatalysis group.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":27,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_et_pb_use_builder":"","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":""},"categories":[41,32],"tags":[],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v17.9 -
