The candidates who meet the conditions stated in the act \u201cUstawa o Polskiej Akademii Nauk\u201d dated 30 April 2010 (Dz.U. 2018 poz. 1475 z p\u00f3\u017a. zm.), art 89. Ust. 4 for the position of research assistant are encouraged to apply for the position.<\/p>\n<p>The assistant, supervised by the group leader, will be responsible for the operation of the research laboratory. Additionally, he will work on determining the mechanical properties of the materials that make up heritage objects &#8211; historical and contemporary &#8211; using universal testing machines, a dynamic mechanical analyzer, climate chambers, a HIROX microscope scanner and speckle interferometry, and on determining the interaction of these materials with water vapor based on measurements of water vapor sorption and moisture expansion.
