Jerzy Haber Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry PAS invites applications for an Adiunct (post-doc) in the Theoretical and Experimental Biocatalysis group. The candidates who meet the conditions stated in the act \u201cUstawa o Polskiej Akademii Nauk\u201d dated 30 April 2010 (Dz.U. 2018 poz. 1475 z p\u00f3\u017a. zm.), art 89. The candidate will participate in research within the OPUS 28 research project \u201cDesign of enzymes catalysing interfacial solid\/liquid reaction\u201d no 2024\/55\/B\/ST4\/02371, conducted in the Theoretical and Experimental Biocatalysis group in close collaboration with the group of Prof. Artur G\u00f3ra from the Silesian University of Technology, concerning hydrolytic enzymes capable of cleaving ester, amide, and urethane bonds in synthetic polymers. According to the short description of the project: \u201eThe experimental part will be dedicated to: \u2026 v) design of a set of proteins for deep polyurethane degradation, vi) design of chimeric proteins with high affinity and catalytic efficiency toward heterogeneous surface.\u201d<\/p>\n
