Jerzy Haber Institute of Catalysis and Surface Chemistry PAS invites applications for an Research Assistant in the Interfacial Interactions in Dispersed Systems (IIDS) group. The candidates who meet the conditions stated in the act “Ustawa o Polskiej Akademii Nauk” dated 30 April 2010 (Dz.U. 2018 poz. 1475 z póź. zm.), art 89. Ust. 4 for the position of Assistant are encouraged to apply for the position.
The candidate will participate in research conducted in the IIDS group devoted to experimental and theoretical assessment of factors affecting stability of dispersed systems under static and dynamic conditions including studies on properties of thin liquid films, with a particular emphasis on hydrodynamics and physicochemistry of surface phenomena, adsorption and interfacial forces in thin liquid films, and modification of solid surfaces.
In particular the successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting research work in accordance with the Institute’s profile, with a particular emphasis on study of phenomena occurring during formation of liquid films under dynamic and quasi-static conditions at various interfaces in relation to stability of dispersed systems;
- Planning and analysis of the results of experiments and preparation of publications.
